Exam Details

The CompTIA A+ certification requires candidates to pass two exams:

  • Core 1 (220-1101): This exam covers topics such as mobile devices, networking technology, hardware, virtualization and cloud computing, and network troubleshooting.
    • Multiple-Choice and Performance-Based Questions
    • 90 minutes
  • Core 2 (220-1102): This exam covers topics such as operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS, Android), security, software troubleshooting, and operational procedures.
    • Multiple-Choice and Performance-Based Questions
    • 90 minutes
